NAGAMALAI NAVARASAM EDUCATIONAL TRUST- a rural voluntary service organization authenticated by 30 members of the rural and environs villages on 4th December 1992 with a rock-ribbed vehemence for eliciting vigilance among the rural mass in all view point, launched a co-educational Institution by the epithet Nagamalai Navarasam Arts & Science College in June 1994 and it has been transformed into a women’s college by the name NAVARASAM ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN in 1997.

The amount of information available today necessitates that students acquire the skills to select, evaluate and use information appropriately and effectively. Libraries provide access to print and digital resources for both learning and enjoyment. Librarians provide instruction in accessing and using library resources, facilitating research and appreciating literature.
Computer Labs -Provide training and guidance to students and staff in I.T and Computers and in Technology. Provide an environment conducive for E-learning and research. The Students’ Feedback on the Institution and teaching learning process at Navarasam Arts and Science College For Women campus is designed to get formative feedback from students that can be used towards the improvements in the quality of course design and delivery, as well as student learning experiences.
Feedback on various aspects of instructional resources and academic content is sought from around 95 faculty members of Navarasam Arts and Science college for women. The aspects such as provision of adequate time and resources for coverage of both theoretical and practical components in the syllabus,focus on flexible curriculum based on current trends etc.
Feedback obtained from the parents is considered as vital for the development of any educational institution. Parents’ feedback is taken from approximately 270 parents about the institution for the year 2018 to 2019. Majority of 50% of the parents expressed that the discipline and cleanliness, quality of teaching and security arrangements in the college are excellent.
The contribution of alumni to the activities of the College is substantial especially in the development of the institution. Nearly 353 alumni were given their feedback for the academic year 2018-2019.The feedback from the alumni reveals that 100% of them feel proud to be a part of the institution and are willing to contribute to the development of the institution.
Employers’ feedback is obtained from recruiting agencies, corporates with the help of structured questionnaires. Their feedback is sought on the following areas: Employee’s acquaintance with technical/ teaching skills and knowledge, adequacy of necessary communication skills to meet the job requirements and maintaining cordial relationship with the co- workers.
