VISION
To train the students to make their body physically fit and mentally strong.
MISSION
To develop physical, intellectual, social and emotional aspect of the student through physical activity.
OBJECTIVES
- The physical education program makes the students to participate in proper activities.

GYMNASIUM
A Well equipped gymnasium has been installed with Square feet of 798.875 on 19/11/2003 in our Physical Education Department with grand-in-aid by the ministry of youth affairs & Sports, Government of India, New Delhi with the amount of Rs.3,00,000/-.

GAMES HOUR
Our department aim is to allocate a weekly period for physical activity. As per schedule, all departments have games hours periodically for UG & PG students. It helps activate their minds and reduce stress, paving the way for fitness.
INTER-COLLEGIATE TOURNAMENT
Organized Bharathiar University inter collegiate Ball badminton tournament (2012-2013) and Kho-kho tournament (2013-2014).
ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
Every year we celebrate sports day honoring talented students with trophies, certificates, prizes, and championships.
SPORTS CONCESSION
Management supports students who achieve in sports by reducing tuition and mess fees. About 103 students have benefited through sports quota.

Placement Achievements
R. Mohana, an outstanding player of our college has been selected in railways department, and another student M. Gowsalya has been selected as police. R. Mohana played in Fire Birds Team in Pro Kabaddi Tournament for women 2016-17 and secured the position of Runners.
Physical education department takes initiative to train our students as sportsmanship to create employable opportunities. We train students regularly in various sports activities and guide them to get Government jobs.
