The Navarasam Arts and Science College for Women conducted a NSS Special Camp from February 03, 2026 to February 09, 2026. The camp covered five locations.

The NSS Inauguration Programme of Navarasam Arts and Science College for Women was successfully conducted on 3rd February 2026 (Tuesday) at Kongu Mahal, Karumandampalayam. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 200 NSS volunteers, along with faculty members and distinguished guests.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the inauguration. The chief guest, Dr. C.K. Saraswathi, MLA of Modakkurichi Constituency, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of social responsibility, leadership, and active participation of youth in nation-building activities through NSS. She encouraged students to engage in community service with dedication and compassion.

Mr. K.K. Vimal Karuppannan, President of Erode Siragukal, highlighted the significance of voluntary service and shared real-life experiences on how NSS activities can transform both society and individuals. His speech motivated the volunteers to actively involve themselves in social initiatives.

Mrs. D. Suguna Florance and Mrs. S. Dhatchayani addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of discipline, teamwork, and service-mindedness among students. They also appreciated the role of NSS in shaping responsible citizens.

Mr. K. Senthil Kumar, President, Navarasam College, and Mr. P. Senthilkumar, Secretary, Navarasam College, addressed the volunteers and provided guidance on the college’s vision for student participation in NSS and community service. They emphasized the values of leadership, dedication, and sustained commitment to social welfare.

Various aspects of NSS activities, including community development, environmental awareness, health initiatives, and social service, were explained to the volunteers. The programme also focused on instilling values such as unity, selflessness, and leadership among students.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, organizers, and participants for making the programme a grand success. Overall, the NSS Inaugural Programme was highly informative, motivational, and impactful, leaving the volunteers inspired to contribute positively to society.
