Navarasam Narpani Kala Mandram, a rural voluntary Service Organization , Established by the rural youths of Palliyuthu village and surrounding villages in January 1978 with a strong passion for evoking awareness among rural mass in all angles, transformed Arachalur into an educational Centre to provide higher education to women community by starting Navarasam Arts and Science College For Women June 1994 . Through education, the college empowered women in locality and neighbourhood economically socially and culturally.
