Every student shall participate compulsory for a period of not less than two years (4 semesters) in any one of the above programmers.
The above activities shall be conducted outside the regular working hours of the college. The principal shall furnish certificates regarding the student’s performance in the respective field and shall grade the student in five point scale as follows:
1. A-Exemplary
2. B-Very Good
3. C-Good
4. D-Fair
5. E-Satisfactory
The grading shall be incorporated in the Mark sheet to be issued at the end of the appropriate semester (4th or 5th or 6th semester).
(Handicapped students who are unable to participate in any of the above activities shall be required to take a test in the theoretical aspects of any one of the above 2 fields and be certified accordingly.
NSS Special camp of this academic year was conducted in and around the areas of Ammankovil and Sivagiri.(25.12.2017-31.12.2017).The camp was well planned with Yoga and Prayer in the early morning followed by field activities,motivational and awareness programmes, workshops and cultural activities in the evening. The local bodies of that village, Health Department, Village administrative bodies,Forest Office,Educational institutions and the public supported all our activities.The following activities were carried out during the Special camp

*Sapling Plantation-About 250 saplings were planted in and around the village 250 saplings were planted in front of Ponkalaiamman Temple
*Bus-shelter in Amman Kovil Bus stop (Asset creation-Rs40,000)
*Competitions and Motivational Programmes to school students.
